About SSC GD 2023 Examination:
SSC GD is a national level exam conducted every year. The objective of this exam is to select general duty constables and riflemen for BSF, CISF, CRPF etc. SSC GD exam is one of the most popular exam in India. The number of candidates who applied for SSC GD exam 2023 is more than 52 lakhs. But only 30 lakh people took the exam. From the SSC GD result released some time ago, we understand that about 3 lakh people are eligible for the SSC GD Physical test.

SSC GD 2023 Selection Process:
SSC conducts computer based written exam in the form of preliminary level selection. The result of this exam is now published. Out of the 30 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, around 10 per cent have been promoted by SSC to the next level of selection. Candidates who have cleared the exam now have to go through a three-level selection process. Those are following.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Medical Test
SSC will issue appointment orders to various departments to those who pass these three section processes.
